FO Friday - Scrappy hoody

Yay for bright coloured, stash busting projects!

I gave up on the sleeves with this project. Too much ripping back and trying to fiddle around with the shaping and I lost interest. Figured she can wear it with a long sleeved top when it gets cold and I could always pick up and knit a sleeve later on. I think I actually prefer it like this anyway :-)

I modified the hood so it was a pixie hood because it's cute lol

She seems to like it :-)

The photos were taken at Stowe Landscape Gardens by the way. We met up with the in-laws there last weekend

The hood was done by doing two increases in the centre every other round and then when it was about the right length I divided the stitches onto two needles and kitchener stitched together. Simples!

I used the Sleuthing Hoody pattern for the raglan numbers and copied the little splits at the side too. The yarn is just a selection of aran and worsted weight from my scraps stash.

For more FO Friday posts visit Tami's Amis. Hope you have a good weekend, Mr Soaring Sheep is taking the children blackberry picking tomorrow morning so I'm looking forward to having the house to myself for the first time in...*counts on fingers*... 3 months! I think I've earned it lol
