And here's the front
The boy pattern is turning into a vest. I've worked the left front, now I'm doing the back
It's fun not knowing how things are going to turn out. I'm wondering if the boy design will have a collar and possibly some sort of short sleeves. The girl design I had to buy some pony beads for but I've no idea how those are going to be used. Exciting!
I'm linking in with Tami's Amis as usual. Enjoy the sunshine if you've got it :-)
KEEP ON KNITTING!
ReplyDeleteI really like the yarns...and patterns.
Always a fun morning on WIP when I can peek in and see what everyone is up to.

It's great isn't it. My problem is I run a toddler group Wednesday mornings so I feel like I have to play catch up a bit lol. Thanks for visiting :)
DeleteLooking good so far. I'm always leery of mystery-alongs. I guess I just don't like surprises. But you're lucky so far because they're both lovely. Beads, huh? I guess we'll see in the coming days :)
ReplyDeleteI think it depends on the designer's style. The two designers I've done MKAL's with I love all their designs so I wasn't bothered at all
DeleteBoth are looking good so far, love the idea of a mystery kal, I've never done one before. Best of luck with them.
ReplyDeletethanks :-) They're good fun if you're open minded about what the project is going to look like. I'm looking forward to joining in with the Booknits shawl KAL in the Autumn next
DeleteThis looks like such a fun KAL. I really love that green. You're doing a great job.
ReplyDeleteThanks hun :-)
DeleteBoth of these are so cute! I don't know if I could do a mystery KAL - I like to know how things are going to turn out.
ReplyDeleteWow a mystery KAL that sounds exciting and the projects are looking good!
ReplyDeleteThey are both looking great! I love a mystery knit!
ReplyDeleteMystery KALs are so fun! Love the colors you've chosen. How fun to have a boy one and a girl one to work on! Happy knitting!
