I've not got much knitting done because I've been resting my elbow. Seems to be feeling better now so looking forward to getting some more work done on this cardigan. I'm going to do the sleeves next and then a pixie hood.
I've also started a new pair of socks for Mr Soaring Sheep. I'm using the Charybdis pattern which is a free one on ravelry. They're going to be a surprise present for Christmas. Yes I said the C-word :-o Well it is November now and I'm not able to work on them when he's around so I need to make the most of the time I've got lol.
Happy knitting everyone :-)
The cardy will be so cute! The colours are gorgeous. GAH! the c word. There's a rule in my house that we don't talk about it until after my birthday ...
ReplyDeletehope your elbow feels better, take it easy and slow. You don't want a permanent problem! Love the knitting and the wee sock bit.
ReplyDeleteOh, I love the blues and greens in that yarn!
ReplyDeleteI love that sock! I always want to make them for Christmas too but never get started on time! One in December and one in February is what kind of gift that turns into for me!
ReplyDeleteThat stripey number is to die for!
ReplyDeleteGlad to read your elbow gets a little better!
ReplyDeleteThe yarns you work with look very pretty, I like both projects. Cardigan and sock look wonderful!
Take care!
The sock yarn is working well with that pattern. I forgot you were working on a cardigan for your cherub. I thought at first glance you whipped out colorful, sock yarn beanies with a white brims.
ReplyDeleteHappy knitting! I hope that your daughter enjoyed herself. xx
ReplyDeleteI'm interested watching the socks emerge. I checked the link on Ravelry, and the pattern looks like it's pretty hard. Let us know!
ReplyDeleteIt's not a difficult pattern at all, the knitting is very easy to read :)
