I joined the squares together just using simple slip stitch. I'm hoping I'll be able to do the same for the two circles. I'll need to pay attention though as there are 10 treble clusters on the outer circle to join to 8 treble clusters on the inner one. I've used a bunch of safety pins to keep each section in place.
I think for now I'll sit and admire it for a bit and then make a proper start once I've had my lunch ;-)

I would never have thought of making a treeskirt with granny squares. I suppose it can work. And it's very bright :)
