Happy Baubles

Spent most of yesterday in bed feeling sorry for myself. I caught a sickness bug off my 2 year old (I guess it's good that she likes to share!) and couldn't keep anything down. Feeling a bit better today so planning on taking things easy and mainly trying to rehydrate myself.

I thought I'd share some more Christmas-y photos with you today. It's not really a knitting or crochet post although it was inspired by Attic24's post a couple of years ago...

The baubles were out of stock on the Paperchase website but I sent them a begging email and they managed to find some for me and pop them in the post. I want to keep this decoration up all year round lol.

Seems rather appropriate to be linking in with Keep Calm, Craft On today. Fingers crossed no one else gets ill and that my stomach is happier now!

    1. Thank you :) Me too, it's one of those shops I could happily spend a fortune in. Feeling much better today, toddlers and their germs are not fun!

  3. A fellow mum and her kids had that stomach bug over Thanksgiving. So sorry you are suffering.
Great decor. I wish we had a mantle by our fireplace.

    1. There seems to be a few of those bugs going around at the moment. I've been emailing a friend who's 40 miles away and her son's teacher has had one so she's worried her son will bring it home :-S

  6. Love it, love it, love it!!! So bright and colourful and probably just what you needed to make you feel a trifle better! This theme would definitely suit our warm Aussie Christmas although I do so love the traditional too.....choices, choices!!
